The remoteness of the two walking camps, Chikoko and Big Lagoon, both inaccessible by road, is unique in the vast South Luangwa National Park.
In brief:
The first evening will be a chance to relax after a long flight in a lovely Lusaka hotel.
You can have a leisurely breakfast the next morning before a thrilling light aircraft flight from Lusaka to Jeki airstrip and a transfer to Kutali Camp.
You will uncover Lower Zambezi’s remote beauty and track big game both on game drives, walks and from the water – one of the few safari areas along a major waterway.
And you’ll also have the chance to go on night drives – which is a real treat.
In South Luangwa, the birthplace of walking safaris, you will wander pristine wilderness staying in remote bush camps like Tafika and the truly exclusive Chikoko Tree Camp and Big Lagoon where you will spot wildlife on foot – an incredibly exciting experience.
After returning to Lusaka, you will have time to discover the modern capital of Lusaka or just take it easy by the pool before heading home.
