Truly personal service
The Grown-up Travel Company is a small and specialised operation. In fact, there is only one employee and that’s me, Andy Higgs. I do all the travel consulting, networking and planning myself to be able to give a degree of personal service that nobody else can offer. I have a huge network of contacts in Africa – people I know personally and have been both friends and colleagues for many years.

Genuine knowledge
I travel often and extensively in Africa to familiarise myself with the destinations, lodges, hotels, travel and experiences that I offer my clients. A lot of bigger travel agents claim to know Africa. But do they? Will you be talking to someone who knows what you can expect by experiencing it themselves or are they quoting from a brochure?

You come first
I am happy to recommend a “competitor” if I feel they will offer you what you want better than I can. I won’t waste your time or mine because I only want to receive 5-star feedback. I therefore only work with a limited number of clients each year who receive my full attention.
