Summary

Swartberg is situated in a part of the Cape called the Karoo. The landscape is fairly arid but characterized by stunning varieties of flora and fauna. Our hotel is in the heart of the historical Prince Albert, a hospitable, charming, scenic village surrounded by the vast expanses of the Karoo and fairly close to the famous Swartberg Mountain Pass. Our accommodation at the Swartberg Hotel is characterized by charm and old-world feelings of belonging to some forgotten era. The hotel has been completely refurbished and provided with all modern amenities and facilities. Should you prefer outdoor activities, board our Unimog, travel around town in one hour, or ascend the Swartberg Pass within 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at the hotel, after all your excursions, visit our gymnasium and indulge in an exhilarating massage or have a swim in our crystal-clear pool.

As we’ve collected a range of furniture over the course of our history, each room is unique in its furnishings, from tables and dressing tables to headboards and chairs.

Twin Rooms

These rooms are equipped with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. Rooms are equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, TV with selected DStv channels and free Wi-fi access. Air-conditioned rooms.

Garden Cottages

Cottages are equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities,TV with selected DStv channels and free Wi-fi access. Air-conditioned rooms. Each cottage contains two rooms separated by a bathroom, and is ideal for families or larger parties of guests. Over looking our beautiful gardens.

Luxury Room

The luxury rooms are equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, TV with selected DStv channels and free Wi-fi access. Air-conditioned rooms.Two of our luxury rooms have their own balcony, and we can easily say that there’s nothing better than standing on the balcony in the morning and breathing in the pristine Karoo air. The third luxury suite trades the balcony for a larger bathroom with both bathtub and shower.
