Both are successful businessmen in their own right and respected members of Karatu’s community and the hospitality industry.Jacob comes from a long line of farmers, before branching out into retail and then hospitality. Reggie is well known within the tourism industry. He mentored under Margaret Gibb Kullander of the old, legendary Gibb’s Farm, as Assistant Manager and Executive Chef before joining Jacob to create new successes with Country Lodge and its predecessor Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.Country Lodge reflects their goal in providing comfortable accommodation with country charm, excellent food and service at an affordable price.
